The Mountain House Lodge Aspen Colorado iis located 6 blocks from the Silver Queen Gondola and 1 block from the free skier shuttle. This small, comfy inn offers cable TV, small refrigerators and phones in each room.

Most of the rooms have outdoor decks. Other amenities include indoor Jacuzzi and ski lockers, complimentary full breakfast in winter and continental breakfast in summer.

The Mountain House Lodge is a unique Aspen property perfect for small groups and wedding parties. The Breakfast Area has seating for 30+ and can be re-configured in the afternoon and evenings for theater-style and banquet-style meetings and gatherings.

Getting to Aspen

From Hwy I-70, Exit State Hwy 82 - S.E. to Aspen
Continue Southeast on Hwy 82 until you reach Aspen (about 40 miles — a little over 1 hour )

Getting to Mountain House

Continue southeast on Hwy 82
When you approach the central Aspen area, Hwy 82 becomes Main St.
Continue East through town all the way on Main which curves right & becomes Original St.
At the second cross street (Hopkins) turn left and go 1 1/2 blocks
Mountain House Lodge will be on the right
IMPORTANT: About Independence Pass: Those coming from the South on Hwy 24 may be tempted to turn onto State Hwy 82 and travel through Independence Pass as a shortcut rather than go all the way to I-70 and back South again.

Independence Pass is CLOSED for the winter from late October to mid June. Maps often do not show this!
