
Aspen Colorado is a world famous ski resort in the Colorado Rocky Mountain range. The town started as a historic mining town but is now a fabulous Resort area with great art galleries, shops and awesome restaurants. This remote mining camp in 1879 became one of the richest silver producing areas in the United States and the world until the silver market crashed in 1893.

Aspen Colorado is situated in a pristine valley known as the Roaring Fork. Valley. Aspen offers the best ski conditions in the world as well as a winter Mecca for all outdoor enthusiasts who enjoy winter sports.
The summer months are hustling with vibrant music festivals and theater events. In the late 60's and early seventies a new town called Snowmass Village was founded and now plays a big role in the four mountain ski area that makes this world class resort the best in the West.
There are numerous hiking and mountain biking trails in all the national forests in and around these quaint mountain towns of Aspen and Snowmass Colorado. The Maroon Bells is one of the most scenic vistas in North America comparable to the Grand Teton range of Jackson Hole Wyoming.
Down Valley are several more bedroom communities surrounded by Mount Sopris that reaches 12,953' above the valley floor. The Western town of Carbondale has wonderful specialty shops, local arts and crafts as well as fine restaurants. Fly-fishing on the Colorado, Frying Pan River and the Roaring Fork River feature large trout of all species.
Glenwood Springs is the largest town at the other end of the Roaring Fork Valley and is surrounded by the White River National Forest. The Redstone-Marble area offers dramatic mountain scenery and is on the way to Crested Butte, Colorado.
