6th Annual Bud Light Spring Jam
Live From Aspen/Snowmass
March 16-19, 2006
*All events are free and open to the public.
Spring Jam is the premier spring festival in the Rocky Mountains. Held March 16-19, 2006, our natural stadiums are overflowing with audience enthusiasm for four straight days. We infuse new-school competitions with downtown concerts, parties and core cultural events, along with the top athletes and energized spectators.
Events will include a nighttime Bud Light Hi-Fi Concert, free and open to the public to kick off the celebration on Thursday, March 16 in Snowmass. The following day will bring the green out in every individual as Aspen/Snowmass grows its reputation for its St. Patrick’s Day celebration. A Big Air Friday competition will be held at the base of Fanny Hill on Friday, March 17th.
The 7th Annual KickAspen™ Big Air Invitational, Saturday, March 18th, is one of the most anticipated events of the year. The KickAspen™ hosts the best athletes in the world competing under the lights at the base of Aspen Mountain. A packed upper gondola plaza offers great evening viewing, while DJs spin and pyrotechnics create an energized atmosphere for the spectators who attend this event.
Later that evening the 3rd Annual Core Party continues the endless nightlife scene of Aspen as it parties to the “Core”! ‘Core’ defines genres and takes on a Spring Jam twist as the heart of downtown Aspen is transformed into a one-of-a-kind fête where notable performers, DJ mixers, additional stage performers, graffiti artists and special effects take the action deep into the night. Approximately 10,000 people attended last year’s party to see live performances by Arrested Development and El Pus.
